The old 19th century farmhouse has been converted into a B&B with 6 rooms, each one different from the other and all with en-suite bathroom. The rooms are finely furnished with a combination of classic-country and vintage-modern pieces. The particular atmosphere that Claudia managed to create at Il Sole del Sodo can be found in every corner of the house, as well as in the original lamps designed and created by her during the renovation of the farmhouse

- WHEN Visiting Cortona in mid-August you may just happen to find yourself in the middle of the famous Sagra della Bistecca (Steak Festival). Few weeks later and for 10-15 days Cortona hosts the Mostra Mercato Nazionale del Mobile Antico ( a popular antique fair). Minor but not less interesting events include the Fiera del Rame (copperware fair – late April). Cortona is well known around the world also thanks to best-seller “Under the Tuscan Sun”. A festival bearing the same name featuring programmes packed with classical and lyrical music concerts was started in recent years.
