Our hotel is placed in one of the most important porticoed buildings of the Historic Artistic Site of Puebla de Sanabria whose origin goes back to the 17th century. La Pascasia has seven spacious rooms (double and twin) with King Size beds and the possibility of having extra beds. All rooms are different but with a common point: its minimalist and avant-garden design which combines the original walls made of stone and wood with glass and modern furniture, creating a magical and warm atmosphere. You will be also able to enjoy the marvelous views from the balconies to the river “Tera” and the mountains and to the heart of the village.
We have two special suites. One is a duplex with a kitchen and a living room in the first floor and a loft in the second one. The other is a fully equipment loft.
All rooms have mini bar, kettle, television with DVD and safe. All bathrooms have hair dryer, mirror, bathrobes and whirlpool bath or Jacuzzi and four of them also have shower cabins.
There is a common lounge for our clients with a computer, free WiFi connection and several films for borrowing. We also offer SPA services .
One suite is accessible for people who have reduced mobility.

La Pascasia is located in the northwest of Spain, near to the border with Portugal. To reach Puebla de Sanabria, where we are situated, you need to follow the highway A-52 or the national road N-525. The exit is the number 79 if you are coming from Madrid, or the number 85 if you are coming from Galicia.
Puebla de Sanabria declarada Conjunto Histórico Artístico ya figura en documentos del siglo VI de nuestra era. Ubicada en una elevación, fue plaza fuerte en la frontera con Portugal y avanzadilla del reino de León ante el poder musulmán.
Nuestra posada está situada en las calles de la parte vieja de Puebla de Sanabria, que poseen el encanto de la arquitectura típica de montaña, con el añadido de contar con edificios nobles de grandes balconadas y prolongados aleros.
Activities:
The proximity to the lake “Lago de Sanabria” offers different opportunities for hiking. You will be able to go between the different villages through traditional ways; there are more than 100 kilometers of easy and silent walks.
There are some other opportunities for the adventure people, which will get you into the heart of the natural park being able to watch marvelous views of this park and its mountains.
Some other activities as horses, canoeing, guide walks and mountain bike are also available.
Portugal is our neighbor so if you feel like visiting another country you could go to Braganza (36km), Montesinos Park (28km) or some other places.
